What is data annotation?
Artificial intelligence uses data to become "smart". They do not have access to the 5 senses like humans do, so AI relies on human to "teach" them about what it is they are "seeing". As humans, we "teach" AI by means of data, categorised as "labels" or annotations. In return, AI has an amazing capacity to learn and recognise these objects and report the labels.
